Every time the government introduces a benefit for employees it creates a headache for small or medium sized businesses. For example, employment agreements have had to be changed no less than 3 times in the last 7 years. Now, in addition to running your business, you have to play your part in administering New Zealand's new superannuation scheme - KiwiSaver. Plus from April next year you must start conributing to the scheme of every one of your employees who opts in (or more correctly, for new employees, who don't opt out)
